  1. Product Manager

    Jan 2025 – Present

Own the internal subscription management platform and related business workflows supporting a $250M+ annual-revenue product business. Partner closely with engineering managers and architects and directly with leaders across C-suite, Product, Sales, Account Management, Account Services, Finance, and Engineering. Serve as the most senior PM in the product area and have mentored four rotational APMs.

A few of the problems I’ve worked on:

    Rebuilding the subscription data model

The old hierarchical system had accumulated constraints around a business that had grown far beyond the product it was originally built for. This was causing major friction for both its users and the developers trying to maintain and enhance the business platform.

I led the product side of the move to a new associative model: understanding the architecture deeply enough to translate it into workflows, deciding what could be ugly-but-functional under a compressed timeline (18 months → 9), and helping customer-facing teams transition to a fundamentally different way of working.

One specific workflow enhancement came from eliminating a recurring manual calculation during quoting: I designed logic that automatically translates customer requests into valid line items so salespeople no longer have to calculate the splits by hand.

Standard new product setup: ~10 wks to 4

Sales users no longer manually calculate line-item quantities

    Changing how we discount

Volume discounts were applied automatically and poorly surfaced, making it easy for standard pricing to disappear before salespeople had consciously decided to discount.

Working with Sales leadership, I redesigned the quoting experience to make standard pricing the default and put discretionary discounting behind a deliberate choice.

Making account merges a product workflow

Account merges (a key opportunity for expansion) currently span spreadsheets, Salesforce notes, manual fulfillment work, and self-reported commission adjustments.

I’m leading the move to a native workflow that identifies merges during quoting, tracks the operational work, and recalculates renewal and commission relationships automatically.

Other work — incorporated a new product vertical into the sales flow, scoped to an MVP with concierge workflows for low-frequency edge cases; lead roadmap reviews and strategic design work with the COO; own end-to-end product work without a dedicated product designer, from problem framing through rollout and user training

Selected Projects

  • HiLo — Designed and built a browser-based arithmetic game based on unusual multiplication patterns. Added a daily challenge mode and am developing a roguelike mode to explore progression, replayability, and more varied problem-solving mechanics.
  • BallDiff — Identified a usability problem in an existing website’s product-comparison experience and built an alternative interface to address it.
  • Dwell — Designed and built a feature-complete iOS app focused on making brief, mindful daily notetaking easy to turn into a habit.
